Wisdenworld.com was launched because as a collector of Wisdens for over thirty years I had accumulated quite a lot of spares and I believed that I could give a decent service, offering the almanack to fellow collectors.

The bottom line to Wisdenworld.com is that I sell Wisdens. In July 2010 I also introduced a new section, "General Cricket Books" and I try and sell all my books at a reasonable price and I try and be as honest as possible in my descriptions. I also have a simple guideline for anyone who buys from me, if upon receiving the Wisden you are not happy, return it and I will refund you completely plus your return postage. It is important that you, whether buying for yourself or as a gift, are happy with your purchase.

Cricket is a game of facts, figures, statistics. I believe Wisdens completely capture the cricket-lovers need for information. I have lost count of the amount of times I have picked up an edition to check a score or particular match detail and two hours later, I am still engrossed. My wife and daughters have been more than patient when Lakers 10 takes precedence over getting the suitcases out of the loft.

All my stock is not listed. The process of updating the catalogue is difficult sometimes, as I am out and about viewing collectiopns or taking Wisdens to good cricket-loving homes.
