This original 1901 Wisden Hardback is in good to very good condition for a 109 year old edition, I would even be tempted to say that it is almost an 7.5/10 The lettering on the front cover is bright and clear, the spine is even better and the condition and qulaity of the spine and the back cover is super. The front cover is, for want of a better word, dusty over the bottom right quarter. None of the text is affected and hopefully the photographs will show how unimportant this is. Internally both the inside front and inside back pages are in very good condition, the hinge on the inside front is very very good, the inside back is very good, at both the very top and the very bottom there is a little dustyness. Internally a good edition, around the photographic plate the pages are slightly blotchy at the extremes, nothing to write to your MP about.The internal pages do have the feel of age, there are no tears or damage, they are a little wrinkled, but once again, this is a 109 year old book. Remember that until July 31st this book qualifies for a 10% discount. Uniquely this edition has also been signed by the Editor, Sydney Pardon I am leaning towards an 8/10 for this one "I can't really say that I am batting badly, i am not batting long enough to be batting badly" (Glen Chappell, former Australian captain)
