1922 Wisden Hardback

£390.00 £292.50

A Good to Very Good condition 1922 Wisden Hardback edition. The 59th Edition.

Firstly, internally the hinges and yellow paste-down pages are in very good+ condition, especially for a book that is over 100 years old.

The boards are in good condition. The front and rear boards are strong, the gilt is super, there is ageing and scuffing/slight bumping to the outside edges. The spine is typical of Wisdens from this year, it is worn to the top and foot and has an aged feel to it, it is strong and the gilt is quite lovely.

The rest of the pages internally are in very good condition.

The page block is very dusty.

An anomaly of a book; strong internal hinges, bright paste-down pages and good quality pages within and then good boards and an aged spine.
