1931 Wisden Hardback

This is a LOVELY+ condition 1931 Wisden Hardback. The 68th edition.

The front and rear boards on this 1931 hardback are in super condition – both are very bright and clean, with no ageing. The gilt to both the front and the spine is super.
The spine is also in very very good  condition – it is strong, bright and also very clean – there is, typically for a 1931 hardback some minor bumping to the top and foot of the spine board. The vast majority of hardbacks from 1927 to 1932 have spine issues, usually the board is creased – typically a fold line develops vertically, on this edition the line is very minor.

The inside front and rear hinges are excellent and the pages within are also in quite exceptional condition.

The page block is , for a 93-year-old edition, lovely.
