1932 Wisden Hardback

This is a Very Very Good condition 1932 Wisden Hardback edition. The 69th edition.

Finding a 1932 Hardback intros good a condition is not easy. John Wisden & Co had numerous production issues from the 1927 almanack until the 1932; cut backs resulted in compromises being made on the materials used and as a result these years are often in good or less condition.  For each of the years mentioned a small number of editions – usually for staff or celebrated readers – were printed to a higher specification, this is one of those. It is in lovely condition.

The boards are strong, with some light bumping to the board edges. The gilt to the front is super The spine board has some marks upon it, it is strong and firm and the gilt is lovely.
Internally at the front and rear hinges are excellent as are the paste-down pages. The rest of the pages within are super.

The page block is very very good.
