1933 Wisden Paperback

£175.00 £140.00

This is a Very Good+ condition 1933 Wisden Paperback edition. The 70th edition.

The front and rear covers are in very good+ condition. There is ageing to the edges of both but the text is not impacted upon. There is dustiness on the rear cover. The covers on paperbacks from the 1900s onwards (owing to the increased pagination in the almanack) do tend to feel – a good word would be – crisp, this is 100% normal and the editions that do not feel this way are 1916 to 1919 when the editions were very slim.

The spine is solid  and bright. Typically of pre 1937 paperbacks the spine is a little lighter than the covers.

Internally the pages are generally in very very good condition, they are clean and bright and with only very minor ageing on the odd page.

The page block is dusty. The bat bookmark is lacking.
