1942 Wisden Hardback

A Lovely condition 1942 Wisden Hardback. The 79th edition.

It has one blemish – please read on…

The boards on this edition are Lovely. They are strong and firm, with only a minuscule bump to the top right of the front board and a very very minor mark to the top left of the front board. The gilt to the front is splendid and it is bright and readable to the spine, which is unusual for WW2 hardbacks.

Internally the inside front and the inside rear hinges are stunning and the pages within are bright, clean and devoid of ageing  indeed,  if I have missed the odd dust mark or ageing mark then I apologise. One blemish on this edition is that on the Cricket In Australia first page there is a part of the page missing – hopefully the photograph shows this, also on the very bottom inside corner of pages 341/42 there is a very small piece lacking.

The page block is delightful..
