Thank you for looking at this Good condition 1943 Wisden soft back edition. The eightieth almanack.

Typically 1943 to 1946 soft back (or linen cloth) Wisdens have darker covers than in other years. The quality of the materials used is the reason. The covers on this edition are a little dark. There is rubbing and blotchiness to the front cover-spine edge and along the back cover-spine edge. The outside edges are scuffed.

There is a light fold across the top of the front cover, which can also be seen on the photograph.

There is scuffing to the top and foot of the spine, overall the spine is in good condition – a little dusty.

The contents within are in very good condition. The inside hinge is a little tight to the foot of the facing page.

Contents Include:
Maurice Leyland in First-Class Cricket.
Planning Post-War Cricket.
MCC in 1942.
Matches at Lord’s in 1942.
Oldest living Test players and Miscellanea.
