1957 Wisden Hardback

£45.00

Thank you for looking at this Very Good condition 1957 Wisden Hardback edition. The 94th edition of Wisden.

This edition comes with a Wisden approved dust jacket. The jacket has the ‘Woodcutters’ image and a synopsis of the contents upon the front cover. It has been produced under license from John Wisden & Co by Wisdenworld.

Below the jacket the front and rear boards are in lovely condition – strong and firm. There is some very light ageing to the top of the front board, but this is minor. The spine is in very good+ condition – ’57 hardback spines do develop wrinkling over time, this one does have any wrinkling but it is not as pronounced as on the majority.  The gilt to the front is good+, the spine has faded

Internally a lovely Wisden – the hinges are  very strong. The pages within are in very good+ condition.

The page block is dusty.

Contents include:

How West Indies Cricket Grew Up.
Surrey: Champions in 1956.
