1960 Wisden Hardback – UNIQUE

£75.00 £60.00

This is a Super condition 1960 Hardback. The 97th Edition.

This edition is unique as it is signed by the Editor, Norman Preston. Preston signed this edition to Michael – Michael Gee was the son of Harry Gee a seasoned almanack employee. Preston signed Gee’s copy of the almanack, which was then given to Michael. Harry Gee worked on the almanack from 1934 to 1971, his son also worked on the almanac from 1964.
Harry Gee also wrote the  ‘Throw and Drag’ article which appears in this edition.

The boards are strong and in super condition. The gilt to the front and spine is also super.

Internally this is a splendid Wisden – the hinges are super and this edition still has a strong spring to the front and rear when opened. The pages within are in excellent condition.

The page block is super and bright
