This 1943 Wisden HardBack is in Very Good+ condition. The 80th edition.

The gilt to the front cover is exceptional. The spine gilt has dulled. The boards are in good condition – as can be seen on the photographs, the front has some light staining/marks to the foot and the top left is bumped and creased. The rear board has some light staining to the top half. During the history of this edition water has been spilled upon it. Internally the pages are quite lovely and the water impact is minimal. Overall the boards are strong.

Internally the inside front and inside back hinges are lovely, with no hinge exposure or creasing.  The pages within are also in lovely condition, with only very very minor page warping.  Unusually for this year the page block is very clean.

This is a very good edition and not one to judge by its blemishes.
