1902 Wisden Paperback – Excellent Condition

£380.00

This is an Excellent condition 1902 Paperback Wisden. The 39th edition of the almanack.

When it comes to early Twentieth Century Wisden paperbacks I use the word ‘excellent’ to describe condition very sparingly. This edition justifies the word.

Both the front and rear wrappers are in splendid condition; bright, clean and lacking in any major ageing or dustiness. Indeed the only blemishes on the front wrapper are a tiny chip to the top left and a minor fold line to the bottom right. The rear wrapper has some minor dust marks upon it.

The spine is also excellent, at some stage it has been professionally restored and it is stunning.

Internally the hinges and pages within are in delightful condition –  The photo-plate and facing tissue guard are lovely.

The page block is  a little dusty but overall very very good
